Wonder Retreat Booking Terms and Conditions



We seek to foster an environment that provides a transformational individual and group experience imbued with love, peace and joy with our Wonder Retreat. However, it is important that you read the following terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions apply to your booking with Empower and Grow Ltd (we, us). By making your booking and paying your deposit, you are agreeing to enter a contract with us on these terms and conditions. That contract becomes binding immediately on our confirmation of your booking.
1. Prices
All advertised retreat prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied by us for any reason without notice prior to booking and payment of deposit. Prices are quoted in Great British Pound – GBP. Airfares, travel insurance, airport transfers and any extras are not included.
By paying your deposit, you are agreeing to make all your payments by the dates agreed on the payment plan chosen at the price advertised at that time.  Details of which will also be included within your confirmation email.
2. Payment and Cancellation
Should you need to cancel, you will be liable as follows:
Notice days before the retreat start date:
180 days or more 25%
Less than 180 days, more than 120 50%
Less than 120 days, more than 90 75%
Less than 90 days FULL COST
If we can resell your place, we will aim to refund you more than above.  All measures will be taken to resell your place, but no guarantees can be made.
In some circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we may offer payment plan alternatives. If we do, and you select that payment alternative, then you must make each payment by the due dates indicated (we will make these clear on your confirmation email).
Where full payment or any part thereof is not made by the due date, we may treat your booking as being cancelled by you. In that instance we will retain any applicable cancellation fees and refund the balance of your payment by 5th June
3. Inclusions
You will receive 3 nights’ accommodation in a shared room, unless you have purchased the own room option, arriving on 19th March at 2.30pm and departing by 1.00pm on 22nd March at St Nectan’s Glen, Cornwall.
You will receive unlimited access to the waterfalls and private access outside of public opening hours.  You will have unlimited access to the nature reserve and zen garden.
All group programme activities and sessions are included within the price.  An outline agenda will be provided within 3 weeks of the retreat.  
A pre retreat online session will be held to connect the group no later than 2 weeks before the start date.
All meals, snacks and refreshments during our stay are included – dinner on 19th-21st inclusive, breakfast and lunch on 20th – 22nd inclusive.
It is your responsibility to provide us with information on any allergies or intolerances upon completing our registration form and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
4. Confidentiality
This retreat is a safe space which means that everything discussed within this time together is strictly confidential.  This means that you agree to adhere to this confidentiality regarding anything that other members of the group share also.  What is shared within the space stays within the group.
5. Unavailability of Accommodation and Illness
We can cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.  If this were to happen, we would give written notice as early as possible.  We would seek to find an alternative venue.  And if that were not possible and assuming the original venue had refunded our monies in full, we would seek to refund the retreat costs paid to us by you.    We would not be liable for any incidental costs or losses that you may suffer because of our cancellation.  
If as a result of an injury, illness, or personal emergency, employees and agents of Empower and Grow Ltd cannot attend or have to leave the retreat we will not be liable for a refund unless the retreat has to be cancelled as a result.
6. Travel Insurance
You must obtain travel insurance covering all dates and destinations of travel and must, upon request, provide a copy of the policy at least one calendar month before the start date of the retreat.
Your insurance must cover at least: trip interruption, personal injury, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation cover including during pandemic events.
By signing this agreement you agree that you have fully complied with this clause.
We will not be liable for any costs, losses or damage incurred by you resulting from your failure to comply with this clause save due to our negligence in the event of personal injury or death.
7. Health and Safety
You must fully complete the Registration Form provided to you with your confirmation email, including but not limited to providing us with all relevant health (mental and physical) details and allergies.
If you have any changes in your health or allergies between entering this agreement and the date of the retreat, you agree that you will inform us in writing.
Save as where excepted by law, you are wholly responsible for your own health, safety and wellbeing at all times during the retreat, including during all activities. You are free to stop or decline participating in any activity at any time for any reason.
You must also ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. You should consult your doctor regarding health requirements for your destination and your suitability to participate in the activities provided.
We will not be liable for any costs, losses or damage incurred by you resulting from your failure to comply with this clause save due to our negligence in the event of personal injury or death.
8. Behaviour
The retreat is a shared experience, so you will be responsible in your behaviour both yourself and with other attendees, us and third parties.
If in our reasonable opinion your behaviour is without limitation: Illegal, dangerous, disruptive or upsetting we reserve the right to cancel your attendance, and this shall be at our sole discretion whether we offer any refund.
We will not be liable for any costs, losses or damage incurred by you resulting from your failure to comply with this clause.
9. Passports & Visas
You must ensure you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities for all locations forming part of your booking. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities are your sole responsibility.  All travellers from outside the UK must have a valid passport for international travel. You must ensure your passport meets the minimum validity to ensure leaving the country and to return. Many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of entry. You release and indemnify Empower and Grow Ltd from all responsibility and liability for any refusal of entry, detainment, or other action of immigration or other government authorities which may occur to you in connection with the retreat.
10. Liability
Bar any rights which you may have under statute or common law which may not be excluded and except as expressly provided to the contrary in these terms and conditions, all terms, conditions, warranties, undertakings, inducements or representations whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise relating in any way to the retreat, our services and these terms and conditions are excluded.
11. Notice
All notices to us must be given by email to lynda@empowerandgrow.co.uk 
12. Force Majeure
Our performance under these terms and conditions are subject to any circumstances beyond that our reasonable control including, but not limited to, any strike, lockout, or other form of industrial action; lack of, interruption to, or failure of any utility service, or lack of available facilities; non-performance by suppliers or sub-contractors; collapse of buildings, fire, explosion, accident, acts of God, storm, flood, drought, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic, or other natural disaster; terrorist attack, civil commotion or riots, war, civil war, threat of preparation for war, armed conflict, imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off diplomatic relation; nuclear, chemical, or biological contamination, or sonic boom; or any law or action taken by a government or public authority including, but not limited to, imposing an export or import restriction, quota, or prohibition (‘Force Majeure Circumstance’). At any time during or after a Force Majeure Circumstance we may (in our sole discretion) elect to terminate this agreement by notice to you and refund any amounts paid by you, less our reasonable costs and expenses incurred in respect of your booking which we cannot reasonably recover.
13. Privacy
By booking with us you acknowledge that we will collect, use and disclose your personal information (including to our third-party service providers, for example, accommodation venue) as we reasonably require to provide the service to you, and for other reasons permitted under privacy laws (including direct marketing).  Throughout the retreat we may, at times when it is appropriate to do so, document activities in photographic or video format and use to post content on social media and in marketing and publicity material during and after retreats.  We will be sensitive to your needs and of course make them a priority. You acknowledge and consent to us using photographs of you and/or statements made by you during and after the retreat without payment or attribution on social media and in marketing and publicity material.  If we share something that you’d prefer for us to remove, please let us know and we will do so.

14. Variation
We may make reasonable variations to these terms and conditions from time to time by notice to you.
